Minnesota Transplants Party
February 28, 2009
(Last Saturday in February, eh)

German American Society
Omaha, NE.

The Minnesota Transplants Committee has a wonderful program planned
but Ole thinks you should get a sneak preview.  So.... here it is.

Do we have a theme?   Yes...
Thinkin' of one just now...

Will there be a Guest Emcee?  Yah you betcha...
Of course... only the best...
We just have to go out and find 'em

Will there be Special EntertainmentYah you betcha...
Ole has been negotiating with a few Minnesota farmers
for their funny animal tricks...

Okay, maybe not that, but Ole does promise that the entertainment will be outstanding
If not, he will make Lena stitch a quilt on stage...

Will there be a Special Award Presentation?  Yah you betcha...
The Minnesota Transplants Scholarship
The Minnesota Transplants Scholarship will again be awarded
to a high school senior who plans to attend
a MN institution of higher education in the fall of 2009.

Will there be other fantastic things to look forward to?  Yah you betcha...

Minnesota Trivia
Ole has got your number so you'd better come prepared...

The Infamous Ole and Lena Joke Telling Contest
This year Ole is going all out... he's even asking Sven for some of his material...

Special Minnesota Raffles
Can you say "Out of this world"?
These raffle packages will bring a tear to a Finnlander's eye...

Will the Governors be there?  No... well, maybe...

Who can attend the Minnesota Transplants Party?
Ole says that there are five (5) prerequisites.
Anyone can attend if they either grew up in MN, lived in MN,
went to school in MN, own land in MN or can spell M-i-n-n-e-s-o-t-a.
(Ole's not fussy, you know...)

How many do we expect to attend?
Ole thinks that we have a good chance of hitting 350 people attending.
Of course, Ole's a little dizzy from the Pilates exercise he's now doing...

Check out those other links there on the left.
Ole says that you will appreciate learning a bit more about the MTP.
There's good stuff about the history, this year's program, how to contact the MTP Committee,
the Registration Form, and a few of Ole's favorites...
(but remember, Ole always thinks he knows everything...)
