Minnesota Transplants Party
February 26, 2011
(Last Saturday in February, eh)

German American Society
Omaha, NE.

The Minnesota Transplants Committee has a wonderful program planned
but Ole thinks you should get a sneak preview.  So.... here it is.

Do we have a theme?   Yah you betcha...
It will have something to do with Minnesota...

Will there be a Guest Emcee?  Yah you betcha...
Maybe we can get Chad Moyer for another year...
Radio Personality from West Point, NE...

Will there be Special EntertainmentYah you betcha...
Ole is taking up singing lessons to be as good as Ann Reed...
The Minnesota Sesquicentennial Troubadour who woo'ed the 2010 MTP...

Will there be a Special Award Presentation
?  Yah you betcha...
The Minnesota Transplants Scholarship
The Minnesota Transplants Scholarship will again be awarded
to a high school senior who plans to attend
a MN institution of higher education in the fall of 2011.

Will there be other fantastic things to look forward to?  Yah you betcha...

Minnesota Trivia
Lena's taking over here... Ole's trivia is too easy... Come prepared this year...

The Infamous Ole and Lena Joke Telling Contest
Ole is heading back to the old country to seek only the best of the best stories...

Special Minnesota Raffles
Ole expects to put together raffle packages each worth $300...
There's probably going to be seven (7) packages...
Worse case scenario, Ole will borrow the money to make it happen, eh...

Will the Governors be there?  No... well, maybe... okay... nah

Who can attend the Minnesota Transplants Party?
Ole says that there are five (5) prerequisites.
Anyone can attend if they either grew up in MN, lived in MN,
went to school in MN, own land in MN or can spell M-i-n-n-e-s-o-t-a.
(Ole's not fussy, you know...)

Check out those other links there on the left.
Ole says that you will appreciate learning a bit more about the MTP.
There's good stuff about the history, this year's program, how to contact the MTP Committee,
the Registration Form, and a few of Ole's favorites...
(but remember, Ole always thinks he knows everything...)
